Severe thunderstorms fueled by a stalled cold front produced very large hail up to 3.5 inches and at least three tornadoes rated EF-0 to low EF-1 across southern Minnesota on April 13; one EF-1 tornado near Truman and Amboy damaged a farmstead with 90 mph winds.
