Numerous severe storms Friday brought 60-70 mph wind gusts, teacup-size hail and tornadoes across eastern Iowa, northwest Illinois and northeast Missouri, causing major damage in Lena, Illinois, with homes, outbuildings, trees and power lines destroyed. NWS teams will survey damage this weekend with local emergency management.
