The Cleaning Industry Research Institute (CIRI), now under IICRC, will host its inaugural Science Symposium on Sept. 28-29, 2026, in Las Vegas, uniting researchers from Yale, NIST and others with restoration pros to bridge lab science and field practices in water damage, mold and fire restoration. Sessions include NASA cleaning techniques and fine art restoration, with registration open at ciriscience.org.
